When the days get shorter and darker in October and the trees are beginning to drop their leaves we become very aware that winter is on its way. Whilst nature's warm colours are in contrast to the dropping temperatures of autumn they are a very welcome opportunity for every outdoor photographer to make use of the soft golden light.
