CRAQUELURES
Decay and disintegration can be fascinating and beautiful when looked at closely. These images are from a rusty old shipping container on an Icelandic quayside, battered by salty winds, left there after several years at sea. Now the sea seems to be engraved on its surface, the craquelures and the flaking paint resemble a fascinating underwater world. Well, at least this is what I see - you may come up with your own interpretations.
